LESLEY RIVERA
PT, DPT, PRPC, PCES

Lesley Rivera graduated from Chapman University with Special Recognition in Research. Lesley firmly believes that the point of Physical Therapy is to get people back to the things that they love: from gardening, through travel, through exercise, and so much more. She bases her care on what matters to you, and builds your program to fit into your lifestyle.

Lesley brings a dynamic personal history of competing in triathlons, a student of ballet and other dance forms, hiking, and more to support that physical health is different from person-to-person.

With a deep understanding of chronic pain, Lesley incorporates a whole mind-body approach for lasting results!

When not at work, you can find Lesley camping with her family, taking a dance class, and trying to enjoy the SoCal weather as much as possible.

Michelle Hernandez graduated from Cal State Fullerton and earned her Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Cerritos College. Michelle has used her more than 17 years of experience to work in the inpatient hospital setting, developing her skills mostly in post-operative patients, but never limiting herself to "only" post-op. This has transitioned well into her outpatient experience here at Physical Therapy 509, where she treats a wide variety of diagnoses from post-op, gait and balance, chronic pain, and more.

Her kind, thoughtful demeanor makes patients feel seen and heard, and sets them up on a positive healing journey.

Outside of work Michelle is a "soccer mom" and a "dance mom" to her two daughters, a lover of all things spin classes and Pilates, and can be found cuddling with her two golden doodles or dating her husband of 17 years.
